Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Questionable for Friday
Gafford (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game in Oklahoma City.
Gafford was forced out of Wednesday's game after aggravating his right ankle, so he feels a bit closer to doubtful for Friday's match, with that game being the first of a back-to-back set. If Gafford can't give it a go, that would open up some more minutes for Dwight Powell.

Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Questionable with ankle sprain
Washington is questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder with a right ankle sprain.
Washington is aiming to end a three-game absence with the issue. Naji Marshall has been the primary fantasy beneficiary of Washington's stay on the sidelines, so the former would figure to move to the bench if the latter is able to give it a go Friday.

Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Considered out indefinitely
The Mavericks announced Thursday that Lively (foot) has no timetable for a return, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Lively is getting multiple opinions regarding the swelling and discomfort in his right foot. It sounds like the third-year center can be labeled as week-to-week until the next steps in his recovery are determined. Dallas should continue to lean on Anthony Davis and Daniel Gafford (ankle) for the center minutes.

Mavericks' Naji Marshall: Efficient 18 points in win
Marshall amassed 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 118-108 win over the Heat.
With P.J. Washington (ankle) sidelined, Marshall continues to start at power forward and filled the box score Wednesday. Marshall is worth considering in most fantasy leagues until Washington returns, as he's averaged 18.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals in 38.0 minutes per contest over four games as a starter this season.

Mavericks' Cooper Flagg: Scores 22 points in full stat line
Flagg ended Wednesday's 118-108 victory over the Heat with 22 points (9-13 FG, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes.
The Mavericks may have found themselves a true floor general via the upstart Ryan Nembhard, which could aid Flagg's efficiency going forward. The rookie No. 1 overall pick is coming along nicely, averaging 18.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 34.2 minutes per contest while shooting 49.2 percent from the floor over his last 17 games.

Mavericks' Brandon Williams: Struggles again Wednesday
Williams racked up seven points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes during Wednesday's 118-108 victory over the Heat.
Williams scored single digits for the second straight game, both of which he has played fewer than 15 minutes. With Ryan Nembhard thriving as the new starting point guard, Williams has seemingly taken a back seat, resulting in a dip in his production. In four games over the past week, Williams has averaged just 8.5 points, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 19.2 minutes per contest.

Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Dominant two-way performance
Davis registered 17 points (7-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 17 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 118-108 win over the Heat.
Davis grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds, powering Dallas to its third straight victory. Since returning from injury, Davis has ramped up his production, averaging 20.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.3 three-pointers through three games. While power forward is his preferred position, Davis has thrived as the starting center, resulting in both his rebound and block numbers increasing.

Mavericks' Ryan Nembhard: Career-high 13 assists
Nembhard finished Wednesday's 118-108 win over Miami with 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-3 3Pt), five rebounds, 13 assists and one steal across 34 minutes.
Nembhard turned in another impressive performance, recording his second straight double-double, including a career-high 13 assists. Since assuming the starting role, Nembhard has averaged 17.0 points, 7.5 assists and 3.0 three-pointers in 28.2 minutes per game. While there are certainly no guarantees when it comes to Jason Kidd's rotations, Nembhard is worth adding in most formats.

Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Won't return Wednesday
Gafford (ankle) won't return to Wednesday's game against the Heat, Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints.com reports.
After returning from a two-game absence Wednesday, Gafford aggravated the same right ankle he's been having trouble with. Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Limps to locker room
Gafford left Wednesday's game against the Heat with an apparent right ankle issue, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
Gafford returned from a two-game absence Wednesday because of his right ankle, so this obviously isn't ideal for the center. He was in visible pain and had a significant limp on his way to the locker room. The Mavericks will likely update his status shortly.

Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Ruled out Wednesday
Washington (ankle) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Heat.
Washington will be sidelined for a third straight game Wednesday. He did participate in the morning shootaround, however, so a return appears to be on the horizon. His next chance to play comes Friday against the Thunder, the first leg of a back-to-back set.

Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Present at morning shootaround
Washington (ankle) was spotted at Wednesday morning's shootaround, Abby Jones of DLLS Sports reports.
While Washington is deemed questionable to play against the Heat on Wednesday due to his ankle injury, his presence at the team's shootaround is an encouraging sign that he may play. Washington missed the last two games, but if he returns Wednesday, Naji Marshall may revert to the bench as a result.

Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Spotted at shootaround
Gafford (ankle) participated in Wednesday's shootaround, per Abby Jones of DLLS Sports.
This bodes well for the big man's chances of suiting up Wednesday against the Heat, but he remains listed as questionable. Gafford is likely to go through pregame warmups before the Mavericks confirm his status.

Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Still out
Lively (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Heat.
Lively will miss his sixth consecutive contest due to a right foot injury, and he can be considered doubtful ahead of Friday's game against the Thunder. With the third-year center remaining on the shelf, Daniel Gafford (ankle) should continue to see increased run if he's cleared to play.

Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Questionable vs. Heat
Gafford (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Miami.
The Mavericks could hold out Gafford for right ankle injury management. Dwight Powell would likely take on the backup center role behind Anthony Davis, who Dallas would need to lean more heavily on if Gafford is unavailable.
