Wizards' Tristan Vukcevic: Misses Friday's game with illness
Vukcevic was inactive for Friday's 119-99 win over the Nets due to an illness.
The illness prevented Vukcevic from potentially logging some minutes in garbage time in the blowout win, but he typically hasn't been included in the rotation in competitive contests when the Wizards have both Alex Sarr and Marvin Bagley available. A two-way player, Vukcevic has already been active for 32 of the Wizards' games this season and is eligible to appear in 18 more before Washington would need to upgrade him to a standard NBA contract in order for him to play.

Wizards' AJ Johnson: Muted role continues
Johnson notched three points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one assist and one steal across 14 minutes during Friday's 119-99 win over Brooklyn.
Johnson played at least 14 minutes for the second straight game, although he offered very little in terms of tangible production. On the whole, Johnson has been a non-factor this season, averaging just 1.1 points in 5.2 minutes per game.

Wizards' Bilal Coulibaly: Seasons-high four steals
Coulibaly totaled 11 points (2-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and four steals in 29 minutes during Friday's 119-99 victory over the Nets.
Coulibaly delivered six combined steals and blocks, somewhat negating the fact that he continues to struggle with his shot. Despite scoring double digits in six straight games, he has shot just 39.4 percent from the floor during that time. Assuming you can absorb his inefficient shooting, Coulibaly is worth rostering in standard leagues, specifically for those in need of defensive contributions.

Wizards' Justin Champagnie: Drops season-high 20 points
Champagnie contributed 20 points (9-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, one block and one steal over 25 minutes during Friday's 119-99 win over the Nets.
Champagnie continues to find a way to contribute, scoring double digits for the fourth straight game. Despite coming off the bench, Champagnie has been quietly putting together a strong run of production, averaging 13.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers and 2.5 combined steals and blocks in 27.3 minutes per game over his past four appearances. His role is likely to fluctuate, at least for the foreseeable future. However, assuming Washington makes some moves prior to the trade deadline, Champagnie could be a sneaky stash candidate.

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Protects the rim vs. Brooklyn
Sarr logged 19 points (8-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and four blocks over 29 minutes during the Wizards' 119-99 win over the Nets on Friday.
Sarr was responsible for four of the Wizards' 10 blocked shots during Friday's win, and the second-year center has recorded at least four blocks in four of his last six outings. He is now averaging 2.4 blocks per game, which leads the league among qualified players ahead of Jay Huff (2.3) and Isaiah Stewart (2.0). In his second NBA season, Sarr is averaging 17.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 threes over 28.4 minutes per game while connecting on 50.4 percent of his field-goal attempts.

Wizards' Corey Kispert: Remaining out with hamstring strain
Kispert is out for Friday's game against the Nets due to a strained left hamstring.
Kispert will miss his fifth straight game Friday, and the Wizards have yet to upgrade him to doubtful or questionable ahead of any of those contests. With that in mind, Kispert seems highly likely to miss additional games beyond Friday.

Wizards' Kyshawn George: Won't play Friday
George is out for Friday's game against the Nets due to a left hip flexor strain.
Friday will mark a fourth consecutive absence for George, whose next chance to suit up comes Sunday against Minnesota. The swingman's absence should keep Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson and Justin Champagnie in the streaming mix in deeper fantasy leagues.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Hits for 18 in Milwaukee
McCollum ended Wednesday's 114-113 victory over the Bucks with 18 points (7-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and four assists over 32 minutes.
His final two buckets were the biggest, as McCollum popped for the Wizards' final four points in the last 30 seconds of the fourth quarter to erase a 113-110 deficit. The veteran guard scored in double digits in 24 straight games to close out 2025, averaging 20.9 points, 3.7 assists, 3.5 boards, 3.0 threes and 1.2 combined steals and blocks over that stretch.

Wizards' Bub Carrington: Drains season-high six threes
Carrington totaled 20 points (7-14 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one block across 24 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 114-113 win over the Bucks.
The six made three-pointers were a new season high for Carrington. The second-year guard has scored in double digits in 10 of the last 11 games (six starts), averaging 15.2 points, 5.0 assists, 4.6 boards and 3.1 threes in 30.6 minutes a contest while shooting 50.9 percent from the floor and 49.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Double-double in NYE win
Sarr registered 20 points (7-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and four blocks in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 114-113 win over the Bucks.
The second-year center grabbed his eighth double-double of the season, and his second in seven games since returning from an adductor strain. Over that stretch, Sarr is averaging 14.3 points, 7.3 boards, 3.0 blocks, 2.1 assists and 1.0 threes in only 25.4 minutes a contest, giving him an even higher ceiling once the Wizards let him start getting the 30-plus minutes he was seeing in November before the injury.

Wizards' Jamir Watkins: Will not start vs. Milwaukee
Watkins won't start against the Bucks on Wednesday.
With Khris Middleton (knee) back in action, Watkins will slide to the second unit. In his last five appearances off the bench, the rookie second-rounder has averaged 4.6 points and 3.8 rebounds across 15.2 minutes per tilt.

Wizards' Malaki Branham: Available Wednesday
Branham (calf) is available for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.
Branham will shed his questionable tag due to right calf soreness and suit up against Milwaukee. The 22-year-old guard has logged double-digit minutes in three of his last five appearances, averaging 4.8 points and 2.0 rebounds while shooting 52.6 percent from the field in 11.2 minutes per game during that stretch.

Wizards' Malaki Branham: Iffy for Wednesday
Branham is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks due to right calf soreness.
Branham could test out his calf during Wednesday's pregame warmups before the Wizards decide whether he'll be available for action. The guard has played at least 20 minutes just once in his last five appearances, so his status may not have a significant impact on the Washington rotation.

Wizards' Khris Middleton: Good to go
Middleton (knee) will be available for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.
After missing the second leg of Washington's back-to-back set Monday against the Suns, Middleton is no longer appearing on the injury report. Over his last four appearances, the veteran forward has averaged 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per tilt.

Wizards' Kyshawn George: Won't play Wednesday
George is out for Wednesday's game against the Bucks due to a left hip flexor strain.
Wednesday will mark a third consecutive absence for George, whose next chance to play arrives Friday against the Nets. His absence should allow each of Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson and perhaps even Justin Champagnie to maintain streaming appeal.

Wizards' Corey Kispert: Another absence coming
Kispert (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against the Bucks.
Kispert will miss his fourth game in a row Wednesday and continues to be ruled out a day in advance, suggesting that a return is not imminent. For now, he can be considered highly questionable for Friday's matchup against the Nets.
