The Arizona Wildcats were the No. 1 team in the nation before they went to Lawrence and ran into the Kansas Jayhawks two weeks ago. They lost that one 82-78 and then lost again five days later, 78-75 in overtime to No. 16 Texas Tech. The Jayhawks (21-7) have two losses since then, to Iowa State and Cincinnati, and No. 14 KU is among four teams two games behind the Big 12-leading Wildcats (26-2).
