The Cavaliers have already lost more games than they did all of last season, but they also had the best record in the Eastern Conference a year ago. They're starting to heat up of late, however, having won four straight and seven of 10 entering Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers. Cleveland is 28-20 while Los Angeles is 28-17. The Lakers are trying to get hot amid a crowded Western Conference playoff picture, but they're .500 over their last 12 games, though they've won two in a row. The Lakers have also been better on the road at 16-9 compared to 12-8 at home, which is good news as this game is in Cleveland. Wednesday features just three NHL games, but one of those is a nationally-televised game between the Blue Jackets and Flyers in Columbus. These Metropolitan Division rivals are separated by just two points as Philadelphia has 57 points while Columbus has 55. They're also moving in opposite directions as the Flyers are just 2-6-2 over their last 10 games while the Blue Jackets have won two in a row and are 6-4-0 over their last 10 games played. This is the first of three meetings between these teams, and each team won twice across four games last year. The SportsLine model gives a slight lean preference towards the Flyers here as they win in 47% of simulations as plus-money underdogs on the money line.
