Monday NBA betting preview

The Denver Nuggets are tied for the fifth-best record in the Western Conference, but you wouldn't have guessed that by looking at their NBA futures odds at FanDuel, with Denver having the second-shortest odds to win the Western Conference entering their matchup against a minus-money favorite to advance to the NBA Finals in the Oklahoma City Thunder. This certainly has the potential to be a postseason preview with two of the top players in the NBA leading their respective teams, with Nikola Jokic for the Nuggets and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the Thunder. SGA is coming off an NBA MVP season and leading the Thunder to the NBA title, and on Monday, Oklahoma City is a 6-point favorite at home against Denver in the latest Monday NBA odds at FanDuel Sportsbook for a 7:30 p.m. ET contest.

Other Monday NBA betting options feature the New York Knicks remaining in the Los Angeles area after their 110-97 loss to the Lakers on Sunday, now playing the Clippers on Monday. The Knicks are 1-1 to begin their road trip, demolishing the Nuggets, 142-103, on Friday to start the trip West. However, the Clippers are 4-1 over their last five games, and Kawhi Leonard has scored at least 28 points in three straight games. The Knicks are favored by 2 points in a 10 p.m. ET start. Sign up for FanDuel Sportsbook here:

Monday college basketball betting preview

The Monday college basketball schedule is highlighted by the West Coast Conference tournament semifinals from Las Vegas, featuring a pair of ranked teams likely headed to a conference final meeting. No. 12-ranked Gonzaga plays Oregon State at 9 p.m. ET, and No. 21-ranked Saint Mary's plays Santa Clara at 11:30 p.m. ET. These two programs met in the WCC final each of the last four years, with Gonzaga winning three times, but they need to survive an upset alert on Monday night to make it five straight years. Either Gonzaga or Saint Mary's has won every WCC tournament since 2009.

For college basketball betting, Gonzaga is favored by 19.5 points and Saint Mary's is favored by 4.5 points in the latest Monday college basketball odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. Gonzaga defeated Oregon State, 81-61, on the road this season, and the Bulldogs have won two of three all-time meetings, with each win by at least 20 points. Saint Mary's split its two meetings with Santa Clara,  with the home team winning each time. Saint Mary's is 9-1 in its last 10 games against Santa Clara. Sign up for FanDuel Sportsbook here:
