Kalshi prediction markets to target on Wednesday

  • "No" on Pistons to win by more than 6.5 points vs. Thunder ($0.35 per share)
  • "No" on Florida to win by more than 6.5 points vs. Texas ($0.47 per share)
  • Celtics to win vs. Nuggets ($0.43 per share)

"No" on Pistons to win by more than 6.5 points vs. Thunder ($0.35 per share)

The Thunder are 6-3 overall in nine games with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdominal) sidelined, with wins over strong teams such as the Cavaliers, Pistons and Lakers. They have won three straight games, including a 116-107 victory over the Raptors on Tuesday, while the Pistons are coming off a 114-103 loss to the Spurs on Monday. Cade Cunningham is averaging just 17 points per game over his last two games, shooting 28.6% from the field, and the Thunder have the No. 2 scoring defense at 107.7 points per game allowed this season. The model has Detroit winning by eight points, so there is value on Oklahoma City at $0.35 per share to stay within 6.5 points. Trade Thunder vs. Pistons at Kalshi here:

"No" on Florida to win by more than 6.5 points vs. Texas ($0.47 per share)

"Texas has been good as an underdog this season, with outright wins against Vanderbilt and Alabama and good results in coin flip games against Oklahoma and Missouri," SportsLine expert Chip Patterson said. "The Longhorns can't overwhelm anyone with size like Florida, but Matas Vokietaitis and Daily Swain are effective enough as rebounders to make sure Texas isn't getting dominated around the rim. Texas' defensive performance from Georgia on Saturday cannot be replicated if the Longhorns are going to make it a game, so we're counting on an improvement from awful to merely average. But if there's a spot where the Gators get tripped up before the SEC Tournament, this midweek road game against Sean Miller in Austin looks like a solid spot." Trade Florida vs. Texas here:

Celtics to win vs. Nuggets ($0.43 per share)

The Celtics are 3-0 out of the All-Star Break and have won four straight overall, including a relatively smooth victory against the Suns, 97-81, on Tuesday, resulting in no player needing to play more than 34 minutes. This means the Celtics shouldn't be too fatigued for the second half of a back-to-back, as they enter with a better overall record than Denver this season. The Celtics are 38-19, while Denver is 36-22 this season. The Nuggets are home, but the Celtics also have a better road record (20-10) than the Nuggets do at home (15-11). Denver is 3-6 over its last nine games and is coming off a 128-117 loss to the Warriors on Sunday. The Celtics win in 55% of simulations, showcasing strong value at this price. Trade Celtics vs. Nuggets here:
