The New York Knicks will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in a top NBA contest on Wednesday to claim the newest Kalshi promo code CBSSPORTS, which gives new users a $10 cash bonus after $10 worth of trades. The Knicks and Thunder haven't played yet this season, and the SportsLine Projection Model expects a highly competitive contest at Madison Square Garden, backing the "No" on the Thunder to win by more than 3.5 points against the Knicks at 7 p.m. ET. Kalshi prices this outcome at $0.47 per share.

The model also has its projections in place for college basketball, with one of its top Wednesday college basketball picks being more than 141.5 total points scored for Baylor vs. No. 7 Houston. One of SportsLine's top experts has also locked in a college basketball pick for Florida State vs. Pittsburgh. Sign up for Kalshi with the promo code CBSSPORTS, trade $10 on sports and receive your $10 cash bonus here:

Kalshi prediction markets to target on Wednesday

  • Florida State to win by more than 1.5 points vs. Pittsburgh ($0.54 per share)
  • "No" on Thunder to win by more than 3.5 points vs. Knicks ($0.47 per share)
  • Baylor vs. Houston: More than 141.5 total points scored ($0.54 per share)

Florida State to win by more than 1.5 points vs. Pittsburgh ($0.54 per share)

"Pittsburgh certainly enjoyed its trip back to the East Coast after closing out the Bay Area double with an upset win against Cal," SportsLine expert Chip Patterson said. "Now the question is whether we see a jet-lagged letdown against a Florida State team that's 4-0 in its last four and 5-3 overall in ACC road games this season. It's no surprise to see teams start to play better basketball late in Year 1 of a new hire, and Luke Loucks' team has been mostly trending in the right direction after an 0-5 start to conference play. We have seen teams really struggle in that first return game after the ACC's Bay Area back-to-back over the last two seasons, and Florida State's quality validates a play in this spot." Trade Florida State vs. Pittsburgh at Kalshi here:

"No" on Thunder to win by more than 3.5 points vs. Knicks ($0.47 per share)

The Knicks have won three straight games and five of their last six contests entering Wednesday's home matchup against the defending NBA champions. New York has been especially dominant at Madison Square Garden, going 23-8 at home this season, including winning both its games as a home underdog. One of those two is a recent result, knocking off the Spurs, 114-89, at MSG on Sunday to end San Antonio's 11-game winning streak. The Spurs had a perfect 11-0 month in February and defeated the 76ers on the road by 40 points on Tuesday, so if the Knicks play like they did Sunday, they can knock off the team with the best record in the NBA, or at least keep it close enough for a game going down to the final possession. Jalen Brunson has scored at least 20 points in seven straight games. The model projects this play to hit in 54% of simulations. Trade Knicks vs. Thunder here:

Baylor vs. Houston: More than 141.5 total points scored ($0.54 per share)

Yes, Houston has one of the best defenses in the nation, ranking second in points per game allowed (63.2), but the Cougars also showed what their offense is capable of against subpar defenses. Houston scored 102 points against Colorado on Saturday, heading into a matchup against Baylor's 256th-ranked scoring defense, which allows 77.6 points per game. Baylor has a top-50 scoring offense, though, as their combination of a viable offense with poor defense has resulted in the more than to hit in four of the last six Baylor games. Houston had seven players finish in double-digit scoring against Colorado, showcasing its depth. Baylor has scored at least 80 points in back-to-back games while allowing at least 82 points in five of its last six contests. The model projects more than 141.5 points scored in 69.2% of simulations. Trade Baylor vs. Houston here:
