DAYTON, Ohio (AP) Mark Alstork scored 17 of his 24 points in the second half and Wright State held on for a wild 68-64 win over Cal State Bakersfield on Friday night.

Alstork, the nation's leading scorer at 30.3, was 3 of 10 from the field but made 15 of 19 free throws, including 11 of 12 in the second half.

There were 14 lead changes and 10 ties, the last with 1:16 remaining when two free throws by Matt Smith pulled the Roadrunners even. Then Bakersfield's Matt Briggs hit a 3-pointer with six seconds left to make it 65-64. Alstork then hit two free throws and Grant Benzinger one to give Wright State the win.

Alstork missed his first three shots until knocking down a 3-pointer with a second left to give Wright State (4-1) a 36-32 lead at the half.

Damiyne Durham hit five 3s and had 28 points for Bakersfield (3-2), which managed only a 10-0 run when holding Wright State scoreless for almost 10 minutes in the middle of the second half. Six Roadrunners finished with four fouls.
