Williams scores 21 to lead Drexel to 78-74 victory over Monmouth

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Amari Williams finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds to power Drexel to a 78-74 victory over Monmouth on Thursday night.

Williams made 6 of 8 shots and 9 of 13 free throws for the Dragons (13-6, 6-0 Coastal Athletic Association). Mate Okros hit all 12 of his foul shots and scored 17. Kobe MaGee hit two 3-pointers and scored 12 off the bench.

Xander Rice led the Hawks (9-9, 2-3) with 27 points. He made 8 of 22 shots - 3 of 12 from beyond the arc.
