Beaubrun puts up 22, Stephen F. Austin defeats Utah Valley 77-72
NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) Jalil Beaubrun's 22 points helped Stephen F. Austin defeat Utah Valley 77-72 on Thursday night.
Beaubrun added eight rebounds for the 'Jacks (13-8, 6-4 Western Athletic Conference). Latrell Jossell added 19 points while shooting 5 for 11 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 8 of 10 from the free throw line, and he also had three steals. Kyle Hayman had 14 points and was 5 of 14 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line.
The Wolverines (9-12, 4-6) were led by Tanner Toolson and Caleb Stone-Carrawell with 20 points apiece. In addition, Ethan Potter finished with 15 points and seven rebounds.
