Dalen Davis scores 16 as Princeton routs Carnegie Mellon 78-46
Princeton Tigers, N.J. (AP) Dalen Davis’ 16 points helped Princeton defeat Carnegie Mellon Tartans 78-46 on Monday.
Davis went 6 of 8 from the field (3 for 4 from 3-point range) for the Tigers (1-0). Christopher Kirkpatrick scored 13 points while going 5 of 8 (2 for 3 from 3-point range). Ethan Sabec shot 4 for 7, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points.
Caleb Jameson finished with 14 points for the Tartans. Evan Mirazimi added 10 points and two steals for Carnegie Mellon. Tosin Oyegade finished with six points and seven rebounds.
