Elijah Price leads Nevada to 86-49 rout over Robert Morris
RENO, Nev. (AP) Elijah Price scored 19 points as Nevada Wolf Pack beat Robert Morris Colonials 86-49 on Monday.
Price added seven rebounds for the Wolf Pack. TJ Coulter scored 14 points and added seven rebounds. Styles Phipps finished 6 of 9 from the field to finish with 13 points.
K.J. Garris led the Colonials (0-1) in scoring, finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals.
Nevada took the lead for good with 8:28 remaining in the first half. The score was 41-24 at halftime, with Price racking up nine points. Nevada pulled away with a 12-0 run in the second half to extend a 17-point lead to 29 points. They outscored Robert Morris by 20 points in the final half, as Price led the way with a team-high 10 second-half points.
Nevada has a Sunday matchup with Saint Mary's, and Robert Morris visits UIC on Friday.
