The second weekend of the 2025 NCAA Tournament is set to get underway Thursday with four blockbuster matchups as the Sweet 16 begins and the original field of 68 dwindles to 12. While the absence of a true Cinderella story has been a source of consternation during the Big Dance, the quality of teams remaining should make for compelling and close games.

Up first is an offensive showdown between No. 2 seed Alabama and No. 6 seed BYU on CBS as the Crimson Tide continue their quest for a second straight Final Four trip. They will be tested defensively by the Cougars, who are one of the most-efficient shooting teams in the country.

A pair of No. 1 seeds will also be in action, as top-seeded Florida takes on No. 4 seed Maryland and the Terrapins' "Crab Five" starting lineup. In the evening's second window, No. 1 seed Duke and superstar Cooper Flagg will look to contain the high-powered offense of No. 4 seed Arizona led by Caleb Love.

Then, the night's final contest features the only remaining double-digit seed in the bracket, as No. 10 seed Arkansas and first-year coach John Calipari play No. 3 seed Texas Tech. The Razorbacks and their talented roster started 0-5 in the SEC before climbing out of that hole to become a threat on the national stage.
