This is the 16th straight day that Villanova has been No. 1 in the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one) college basketball rankings. And, barring a big upset, that streak will be at 28 days when the reigning national champions play at Creighton on New Year's Eve.
That's the next real test for Villanova.
It'll be followed by a game vs. Butler at Hinkle.
And here's an interesting fact: Villanova is one of two undefeated teams that KenPom doesn't project to be an underdog in any game the rest of the regular season. The other is UCLA. Those two schools are first and second in the Top 25 (and one).
