Kansas-bound guard K.J. Lawson has issued an apology for a Snapchat video released this week of him yelling "F--- Tubby," of course referring to Tubby Smith, his now former head coach at the University of Memphis.
On Thursday he called his behavior "inexcusable" in an apology on Twitter.
This momentary discretion can jeopardize the most important thing in my life.. I apologize for my inexcusable behavior. pic.twitter.com/Ys5cy4BNxv

Both K.J. and his brother Dedric have already announced they will be taking their talents from Memphis to Kansas as soon as the semester wraps. But it's clear that despite the video, K.J. doesn't want to leave his hometown program on bad terms. At least not publicly.
