There is a graceful way to leave your hometown school.

K.J. Lawson, not so much.

Yes, that's former Memphis standout K.J. Lawson saying "This is what we do when we leave Tubby. F--- Tubby!" on video. Tubby, of course, is Tubby Smith -- the Tigers coach who demoted Lawson's father Keelon last year. That decision led to both K.J. and Dedric Lawson announcing last week that they were transferring and this week committing to Kansas. And though it's reasonable to conclude Smith mishandled the Lawson situation, it's impossible to justify K.J. Lawson's behavior.

Just a bad, bad look.

He should be embarrassed.
