The Red River Rivalry is an intense one. Whether it's on the gridiron, the hardwood, or even the tennis court, the Sooners and the Longhorns utterly despise one another.
Earlier last week, the University of Oklahoma released a photo of the Sooners' exclusive new sneakers -- a customized version of the new Nike KD9 kicks. The only problem, as you may know, is that Kevin Durant is a Texas Longhorns alum. Those shoes in the eyes of Sooner fans are pure evil to the core, tainted with a permanent burnt orange stain. Even if they are technically in the school colors of crimson and cream.
It doesn't matter if Durant only spent a season in Austin. He's s Texas guy. And on top of that, he's the fcormer OKC Thunder legend who bolted the state to play for the Golden State Warriors.
So uh, is it too late in the season to switch to Kyrie's kicks?
