The NCAA's decision to uphold its ruling for Louisville to vacate wins during the 2011-12 through 2014-15 seasons probably has Rick Pitino suffering a severe case of tattoo remorse.

After Pitino's Cardinals went 35-5 and downed Michigan in the 2013 national championship game, the Hall of Fame coach had the memory imprinted in ink on his body. But the NCAA's decision on Tuesday -- which also comes with a penalty for UL to vacate its 2013 title -- officially makes this back stamp out of date.

Pitino made a deal with his team during that magical season that, if his players took home the championship, he would get a tattoo to pay homage to the feat. So he held his end of the bargain, and unsurprisingly, the Twitter world was quick to point out that it is officially outdated.

It's unclear whether the NCAA has ruled to remove Pitino's tattoo as part of the decision, but something tells me he might be springing for a tattoo removal kit in the near future.
