The second round is under way and we already have history being made in the March Movie Madness bracket. In the Other region, No. 16 Dodgeball defeated No. 1 Raging Bull for the ultimate upset.
Dodgeball’s ultimate quotablilty factor is what got it over the hump and past Raging Bull, which had a high historic factor because I’ll tell my kids about it. Raging Bull is a classic just for the accents alone. Throw in Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro, and you can’t go wrong.
However, Dodgeball hit us with another one-two combo with the comedy duo of Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn, who have delivered some of my favorite movies in the past. It more recent release also helped it over Raging Bull.
Also this quote does it every time.

Three No. 1 seeds: Hoosiers, Jerry Maguire and Field of Dreams are still in the running.
