It hasn't been a day of good news for Missouri.
This morning came the announcement that Notre Dame transfer Cameron Biedscheid was leaving the program before ever playing a game for the Tigers.
And this afternoon, Steve Walentik of the Columbia Daily Tribune reported that returning forward Johnathan Williams would miss time with a knee injury.
Although Williams averaged just 5.8 points last season, he is the leading returning scorer for a Missouri team that loses Jabari Brown, Jordan Clarkson and Earnest Ross from the 2013-14 campaign. Those three guards combined to average more than 50 points per game. Williams is also the team's leading rebounder.
Anderson is taking over a team that went 23-12 under Frank Haith last season.
