San Diego State senior Dwayne Polee II has been diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Polee collapsed during the team's December 22 game against UC Riverside. After meeting with six different doctors, it was determined Polee was dealing with cardiac arrhythmia, or an irregular heartbeat. The condition is not life-threatening, and Polee was cleared to play "with no restrictions."
Polee was able to return to the court on Saturday, and expressed relief that he was able to get back out there. "I'm just grateful to have a second chance to complete this season," he said.
Polee was able to play 13 minutes on Saturday. He scored three points.
