Sean Miller was recently named the 27th head coach in men's basketball program history for the Texas Longhorns. Miller has been hard at work assembling the 2025-26 Texas basketball roster after leading Xavier to a 22-10 record last season. Miller will be tasked with bringing the Longhorns back to prominence, meaning he'll have to be active in the college basketball transfer portal. With the portal open for all players until April 22, Miller is facing critical weeks to lay the foundation of the Texas basketball roster.

Miller and his staff recently secured the commitment of Matas Vokietaitis, the former Florida Atlantic big man. The 7-footer earned American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors at FAU last season. In 34 appearances, including 20 starts, Vokietaitis scored double-figures 18 times, averaging 8.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in just over 15 minutes per game. Vokietaitis shot 67.7% from the field last year, giving the Longhorns an intimidating presence in the paint next season.
Another player who has committed to the Longhorns via the transfer portal is former Xavier forward Dailyn Swain.
