Miller and his staff recently secured the commitment of Matas Vokietaitis, the former Florida Atlantic big man. The 7-footer earned American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors at FAU last season. In 34 appearances, including 20 starts, Vokietaitis scored double-figures 18 times, averaging 8.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in just over 15 minutes per game. Vokietaitis shot 67.7% from the field last year, giving the Longhorns an intimidating presence in the paint next season.

The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game last year.
