UNLV has landed a commitment from top-30 junior Justin Jackson, sources told CBSSports.com on Monday evening.
Jackson subsequently confirmed the news via Twitter.
Jackson, a 6-foot-7 small forward, is a Canada native who plays his high school ball at Findlay Prep (Nev.). He is ranked No. 28 in the 247Sports Composite for the class of 2016.
According to Findlay coach Andy Johnson, Jackson was one of only three players in program history to average over 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in a single season. Jackson also averaged 11.2 points and 6.0 rebounds for the U-17 Canada national team.
UNLV assistant coach Todd Simon -- a former Findlay coach -- was the lead recruiter for the Runnin' Rebels.
