  • George King: Will join Blazers for Summer League

King has committed to play for the Trail Blazers in the upcoming Vegas Summer League, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

King averaged 11.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game with the G League's Agua Caliente Clippers during the regular season, but he'll reportedly join Portland for the Vegas Summer League in a few months. He spent four games with the Dallas Mavericks this season before increasing his on-court production in the G League.

  • George King: Records 18 points

King posted 18 points (6-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 30 minutes in Thursday's win over South Bay.

Agua Caliente and South Bay went down to the wire to determine which team was going to reach the Western Conference, and King had another strong scoring output to lead his team. King averaged 13.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game on the regular season, though, so these scoring figures shouldn't surprise anyone.

  • George King: Double-doubles in loss

King recorded 18 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3PT, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 33 minutes during Sunday's 118-114 loss to the Memphis Hustle.

King was efficient from the field en route to his sixth consecutive double-digit scoring performance. He also grabbed double-digit rebounds for the first time since Feb. 14 and registered his fifth double-double of the campaign.

  • George King: Scores season-high 29 points

King totaled 29 points (10-17 F, 8-13 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and one assist in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 118-103 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors.

King was lights out from three en route to a season-high 29 points and fell one rebound shy of his second consecutive double-double. Across 19 appearances, the 28-year-old is averaging 10.8 points and 11.1 rebounds in 22.7 minutes per game.

  • George King: Struggles from field Saturday

King delivered 14 points (4-15 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five assists, four rebounds and a block across 25 minutes in Saturday's loss against the Hustle.

King had a rough shooting performance, and he ended with more field-goal attempts than points. Regardless of the subpar effort, King's role as one of Agua Caliente's go-to players on offense should not be under any sort of threat.

  • George King: Goes for 20 points in win

King produced 20 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and three rebounds across 33 minutes in Tuesday's win over Austin.

King was one of two Agua Caliente players to score in double digits in this one, and while he didn't do much in other categories, his scoring figures alone were enough to make him noticeable in this one. King has been one of Agua Caliente's most productive players and is averaging 13.0 points with 7.3 rebounds per game.

  • George King: Efficient performance Monday

King recorded 23 points (9-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, an assist and two steals across 29 minutes in Monday's win over the Squadron.

King was not able to match up Xavier Moon's 28-point performance, but he stood out because of his efficiency -- he only missed one of his 10 field-goal attempts. This 23-point output also equaled his best scoring effort of the current regular season. The consistency issues are real with King, though, as he hadn't reach the 20-point mark since early February.

  • George King: Records double-double

King had 10 points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds and an assist across 29 minutes in Monday's win over Austin.

King looked good on the glass and finished with the team's second-highest rebound tally. His scoring figures were not efficient, but he still found a way to register his fourth double-double of the campaign.

  • George King: Scores 16 against Texas

King had 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 30 minutes in Friday's win over the Legends.

King drained a joint team-high three treys and was one of four Agua Caliente starters to surpass the 15-point mark in this game. King has now scored at least 15 points in four of his last five appearances.

  • George King: Scores team-high 23 points

King recorded 23 points (7-13 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, an assist and a steal across 38 minutes in Monday's win over the Blue.

Surprisingly, King attempted every single one of his shots from beyond the arc and was particularly successful en route to leading Agua Caliente offensively. King is shooting just 33.3 percent from the field this season, however, so this might be an outlier rather than the norm going forward.

  • George King: Records double-double

King delivered 16 points (5-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, an assist and a steal across 28 minutes in Saturday's win over Iowa.

King was one of eight Agua Caliente players that scored in double digits in this one, and he also led the team in rebounds since he was the only player that recorded a double-double for the Clippers. King is averaging 11.6 points per game and has scored in double digits in four of his last five appearances.

  • George King: Puts up 16 points in loss

King scored 16 points (3-11 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT) while adding six rebounds, an assist and a steal across 29 minutes in Thursday's loss against Sioux Falls.

King didn't have a good shooting performance and struggled in terms of efficiency, but he still posted a decent stat line. It's worth noting King has been inconsistent all season long but he's now trending in the right direction since he's scored in double digits in three of his last four contests.

King has scored in double digits in three of his five appearances in the regular season, but the fact that he's recorded double-doubles in back-to-back contests should be encouraging moving forward. He's averaging 11.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per tilt.

King recorded 15 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block across 32 minutes in Tuesday's win over Iowa.

King was one of six Agua Caliente players who scored in double digits in this game, but he also made his presence felt on defense with 12 rebounds, the second-highest mark on the team. King has been a starter for Agua Caliente at the beginning of the regular season and is averaging 36.5 minutes per contest.

  • George King: Comes close to double-double

King posted 21 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds and two assists across 40 minutes in Wednesday's win over Sioux Falls.

King scored in double digits in each of his last five appearances in the showcase before the start of the regular season, so this outing wasn't surprising by any means. This 21-point outing was a season-high mark for the former second-round pick, who averaged 13.7 points per game in the showcase.

  • Mavericks' George King: Not retained by Dallas

The Mavericks didn't re-sign King after his 10-day contract expired Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

King will presumably head back to the G League after he made little impact over his four appearances with Dallas, averaging 0.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 4.8 minutes per contest.

  • Mavericks' George King: Returns to NBA with Mavs

King and the Mavericks agreed Monday on a 10-day contract, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

King is joining Dallas on a hardship exemption while the Mavericks are currently without three players due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols and three more due to injuries or personal matters. A 27-year-old wing, King, who previously made one appearance at the NBA level for Phoenix in 2018-19, isn't likely to play a prominent role in the Dallas rotation for the length of his stay on the roster. He had been playing with the G League's Agua Caliente Clippers, averaging 13.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 triples, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks in 31.2 minutes per game across 11 appearances.

King registered 14 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt), 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks across 42 minutes in Thursday's win over South Bay.

King did an excellent job of filling out the box score, but the 27-year-old has been doing that with regularity over the last few games. The former Colorado Boulder standout is averaging 13.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game on the season while also putting up double-digit points in four straight contests.

  • George King: Scores 20 against Stars

King delivered 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt), six rebounds and an assist across 31 minutes in Monday's win over Salt Lake City.

King's performance didn't stand out much since Brandon Boston exploded for 46 points, but the power forward continues to deliver strong figures on a regular basis. He's averaging 13.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.9 steals per game so far.

  • George King: Fills stat sheet in loss

King reported 20 points (7-14 FG, 6-9 3Pt), six rebounds, three steals, two assists and a block across 43 minutes in Thursday's loss to the Blue.

King was one of two Agua Caliente players that scored at least 20 points in this loss, and this 20-point outing was a season-high mark for him. It's worth noting he has scored in double figures in each of Agua Caliente's last four contests as well.
