Zach Lofton: Missing more time
Lofton (hamstring) did not play in Friday's 135-112 win over Stockton.
Lofton missed over a week of time at the end of February with an undisclosed injury, so it's possible this is a similar sort of situation. The guard has lost his starting spot in recent weeks to the likes of Marcus Thornton and Kalin Lucas, while promising guard Kenneth Smith has also been relegated to the bench.

Zach Lofton: Returns and plays 13 minutes
Lofton played 13 minutes in Wednesday's demolition of the BayHawks. He finished the contest with four points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists and a rebound.
Lofton also played 13 minutes in Friday's loss to Westchester, posting seven points (2-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and one rebound. If Kalin Lucas misses significant time with an ankle injury, Lofton could surface to the top as the sixth man for Grand Rapids, but that depends almost entirely on the health of the aforementioned two-way player.

Zach Lofton: Does not play Tuesday
Lofton (undisclosed) did not play in Tuesday's loss to the Swarm.
Lofton missed time late January with a wrist injury, so it'll be interesting to monitor what ailment kept the guard off the court Tuesday. The Drive have one more contest before a week-long G League break, meaning it's quite possible Lofton does not play again till next week Wednesday.

Zach Lofton: Averaging five points since return
Lofton (wrist) scored six points (2-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go along with two rebounds in the loss Friday to Westchester.
Lofton has played in the Drive's past four games, averaging around five points per contest while playing anywhere between 15-20 minutes a night. The former two-way player for the Pistons hasn't managed to unseat the likes of Marcus Thorton or Kalin Lucas in terms of a starting role, but there's always the possibility Grand Rapids opts to give some of its young players more exposure as the season winds on.

Zach Lofton: Misses time Thursday
Lofton (wrist) did not play in Thursday's contest against Northern Arizona.
Perhaps it was misreported initially, or the guard is simply dealing with two different ailments, but Lofton evidently missed Thursday's contest not because of a wrist problem - something that forced him to miss Saturday's contests - but instead because of a hamstring injury. More information regarding the starter's availability over this coming weekend will likely arrive near tip-off.

Zach Lofton: Massive line in opener
Lofton accounted for 26 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, and four steals in 37 minutes during Friday's game against Erie.
Lofton is currently on a two-way deal with the Pistons and won't necessarily be in the lineup every night for the Drive. That said, he's clearly their go-to option when he does suit up and should be highly sought after in G League formats.
