Keenan Evans: Rotational role after trade
Evans is averaging 8.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 12 games since being acquired by Delaware.
It's a far cry from playing in the NBA, but at least Evans has fallen into a healthy role with his new club after the Pistons opted not to keep the guard on a two-way contract. Evans hasn't been receiving the same type of workload that he did with Grand Rapids, but there's a possibility he could find his way into the starting lineup down the road.

Keenan Evans: Let go by Pistons
Evans was waived by the Pistons on Tuesday, Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press reports.
With the Pistons and Isaiah Whitehead agreeing to a two-way contract Tuesday, the team had to remove either Evans or Zach Lofton from their two-way deals in order to open up a roster spot. Evans could still play exclusively for the Grand Rapids Drive of the G League if no other NBA options open up for the rookie.

Keenan Evans: Out Thursday
Evans (knee) did not play in Thursday's game against Northern Arizona.
Evans has played in 20 contests with the Drive this season, splitting time with the G League roster and the Pistons. The guard, who is averaging 32.1 minutes with the Drive, evidently injured his knee which could wind up keeping him out for multiple contests.

Evans has bounced back between the NBA and the G League this season. With the Pistons dealing with a myriad of wing and backcourt injuries, it's possible Evans makes his NBA debut.

Keenan Evans: Solid outing despite loss
Evans scored 15 points (5-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), secured four rebounds and registered four assists in the loss Wednesday to Lakeland.
Evans was one of three starters to play in 30-plus minutes as Grand Rapids opted to give extended playing time to their bench. The two-way player has participated in nine games this season with the Drive, averaging 13.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals across 29.1 minutes.
