Rob Gray: Only misses one game
Gray (plantar fascilitis) finished Thursday's 127-115 win with 13 points (4-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds and three assists.
Gray was unable to play Tuesday, but returned to the court Thursday and played 20 minutes. One of the leading scorers for the Mad Ants, Gray's availability is something to monitor in the team's season finale against a Grand Rapids squad that has already clinched a playoff berth.

Rob Gray: Returns from illness
Gray (illness) posted 19 points (8-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt), five assists and four rebounds in the 112-82 loss Monday to Raptors 905.
Gray missed the previous game with an illness, but that evidently wasn't an issue Monday given the point guard played 39 minutes despite a contest that quickly got out of hand by the end of the second quarter. Primarily the leading scorer for the Mad Ants, Gray and Edmond Sumner could be called upon to pick up some postseason experience once the Pacers inevitably lock up a spot in the Eastern Conference.

Rob Gray: Scores 28 in loss
Gray finished Wednesday's loss to the Blue Coats with 28 points (11-19 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists, seven rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot.
The undrafted guard has unequivocally become Fort Wayne's most dangerous player, even before the likes of Edmund Sumner and Devon Reed received contracts with the Pacers. The 24-year-old has seen his scoring average rise significantly over the course of the season, posting a December total of 13.1 points only for his February figures to creep over 17 points per game (17.2 to be exact). Gray hasn't put together a standout game from the three-point line yet, but when he's able to finish around the rim as effectively as he has all season (44.1 percent from the field), it's hard to question his productivity.

Rob Gray: Racks up 24 points off bench
Gray tallied 24 points (9-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and a steal over 34 minutes Saturday against Canton.
Gray led Fort Wayne's bench scoring attack, draining an impressive 64.3 percent of his attempts from the field in a 116-102 victory on the road. The 24-year-old guard has come off the bench in all 27 games he's played in this season for the Mad Ants, but he's posted strong averages of 15.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists as a role player.

Rob Gray: Selected in 2nd Round by Fort Wayne
Gray was drafted in the second round by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants with the 30th overall pick.
Gray was coming off two pre-season games with Houston Rockets where he only received roughly six minutes of run and was unable to score. That production was in stark contrast to the 19.3 points and 1.9 made threes per game Gray averaged during his junior year at the University of Houston. He joins a Fort Wayne squad that posted a 29-21 record last season.

Rob Gray: Released by Houston
Gray was released by the Rockets on Monday, Clevis Murray of The Athletic reports.
Gray was with the Rockets on a training camp deal and was never expected to make the final roster. Look for the 6-foot-1 point guard to start in the year in the G-League and if he plays well, there's a chance he gets looked at for a call-up later in the season when injuries start to pile up across the NBA.
