The 24-year-old has started each of those games after coming off the bench in his first three contests of the campaign. Childs was waived by the Wizards on Thursday, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
Childs signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the team in November, but his stay in the NBA didn't last long. The rookie signed with the Wizards after four seasons at Brigham Young University.
