Wooten isn't a particularly huge scorer for 905, averaging just 4.8 points per game, so his minimal scoring isn't of particular concern. He also averages just 15.6 minutes per contest, so the previous illness doesn't appear to have any lingering effects.

Wooten has joined Maine after spending the 2020-21 shortened season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Wooten was a two-way player for the Knicks in 2019-20, but he never played for the parent club. He now joins his third G League squad in three seasons. At RGV last year, he averaged 4.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks over 16.7 minutes per game for the Vipers.

Wooten, a former two-way player for the Knicks, was claimed off of waivers by the Rockets on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The 22-year-old forward has yet to see NBA action since going undrafted in 2019 out of Oregon. He played in the G League last season for the Westchester Knicks, where he averaged 7.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.6 blocks and 1.3 assists. His strong presence around the basket led to him being named to the 2019-20 G League All-Defensive Team. Wooten is unlikely to make any sort of legitimate impact this season and should only be targeted in the absolute deepest dynasty formats.
