Bucks' Pete Nance: Set to join Milwaukee
The Bucks plan to sign Nance (ankle) to a two-way contract Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Nance will help bolster Milwaukee's frontcourt following the suspension of Bobby Portis, who won't be eligible to play until April 8. The 25-year-old Nance had previously spent time as a two-way player with the 76ers this season, appearing in seven games and averaging 9.7 minutes per contest. He was waived Feb. 6 and hadn't played in the G League since Feb. 12 due to an ankle injury, so it's unclear if Nance will be ready to immediately contribute for Milwaukee or its G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.

76ers' Pete Nance: Returns on two-way deal
Nance re-signed Tuesday with the 76ers on a two-way deal.
Nance had previously signed a two-way deal with the 76ers on Dec. 3 and appeared in one game for Philadelphia before being waived Jan. 7. The 76ers didn't end up filling the remaining two-way spot over the past week and will now bring Nance back to occupy the vacancy. The second-year big man will likely see the majority of his playing time in the G League, though he'll presumably stick around with the parent club for as long as the 76ers are without Joel Embiid (foot) and Andre Drummond (toe) due to injuries.

Pete Nance: Let go by Philadelphia
The 76ers waived Nance on Tuesday, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Nance signed a two-way pact with the 76ers on Dec. 3 to provide added depth in the frontcourt while Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond tended to injuries. Even with both Embiid and Drummond missing several games over the past month, Nance made just one three-minute appearance for the 76ers, which came back on Dec. 30. Once Nance clears waivers, he'll likely try and find an opportunity in the G League, if he isn't signed to an NBA roster right away.

76ers' Pete Nance: Gets two-way pact with Philadelphia
Nance agreed to a two-way contract with the 76ers on Monday, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.
While Nance will most likely spend the majority of the season in the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats, he's expected to suit up regularly for Philadelphia in the short term while Joel Embiid (knee) and Andre Drummond (ankle) are sidelined with injuries. The 24-year-old big man had appeared in eight G League games for the Cleveland Charge thus far during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 18.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.0 steals across 34.5 minutes per game. He'll likely slot in third on the depth chart at center behind Guerschon Yabusele and Adem Bona until Embiid and Drummond return to action.

Cavaliers' Pete Nance: Inks pact with Cleveland
The Cavaliers signed Nance to an Exhibit 10 deal Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Nance will join the Cavaliers for training camp but will likely end up with the club's G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge. The 24-year-old was signed to a two-way contract with the Cavs last season, during which he averaged 13.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.0 steals across 34.2 minutes per game in 26 regular-season appearances with the Charge. Cavaliers' Pete Nance: Inks two-way deal with Cleveland
Nance signed a two-way contract with the Cavaliers on Monday.
After getting cut by the Cavaliers in the preseason, Nance stuck in the organization with the G League's Cleveland Charge before landing a 10-day contract from the Cavaliers in January. He appeared in two NBA games during that 10-day stretch, but totaled only four minutes. Even though he's now one of Cleveland's three two-way players, Nance will likely continue to spend most of his time with the Charge, with whom he's averaging 13.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 blocks in 31.5 minutes per game over 29 appearances this season.

Pete Nance: Deal with Cleveland expires
Nance's 10-day contract with the Cavaliers expired Sunday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
The Cavaliers could look to bring Nance back on a second 10-day deal before the team plays its next game Monday versus the Clippers, but at least for the time being, the undrafted rookie big man is no longer part of the 15-man roster. Nance made two appearances during his week-and-a-half-long stint on the Cleveland roster, logging just four minutes in total. The Cavaliers retain his G League rights, so even if he isn't re-signed to the NBA roster, Nance will report to the Cleveland Charge.
