Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Provides spark off bench
Horton-Tucker chipped in 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Monday's 122-121 victory over the Raptors.
Despite struggling with his outside shot, Horton-Tucker's 15 points were his most scored in a game since Nov. 29. The 24-year-old guard has displayed impressive efficiency this season, shooting 54.5 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from three.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Struggles again Friday
Horton-Tucker amassed two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one block across 13 minutes during Friday's 109-95 win over the Hornets.
Horton-Tucker produced a lot of nothing once again, continuing his recent slump. He has now scored a total of seven points in the last three games while shifting to a depth role. At this stage, the Bulls would likely have to be dealing with multiple injuries for Horton-Tucker to have any chance of playing consistent minutes.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Leads bench with 13 points
Horton-Tucker totaled 13 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 21 minutes during Thursday's 139-124 win over the Spurs.
Horton-Tucker didn't see much playing time off the bench at the start of the 2024-25 regular season, but he has carved out a more consistent role for himself as of late. He has played at least 14 minutes in each of his last six outings, and over that span, he has averaged 13.8 points on 65.2 percent shooting, 2.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds over 16.7 minutes per contest.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Keeps producing off bench
Horton-Tucker finished Friday's 138-129 loss to the Celtics with 16 points (6-7 FG, 4-4 3Pt) across 14 minutes.
Horton-Tucker has taken advantage of several absences to carve out a productive role off the bench. He's scored in double digits in four games in a row, and while he should continue to see minutes, his numbers will likely regress from an efficiency perspective -- he's shooting an unsustainable 78.6 percent from the floor in that four-game stretch.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Goes for 20 points Wednesday
Horton-Tucker provided 20 points (7-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound and one assist across 14 minutes during Wednesday's 133-119 loss to the Magic.
Horton-Tucker was remarkably efficient with his shot in this loss and extended his solid streak of play, as he's now scored in double digits in his last three outings. That said, this uptick in scoring isn't likely to translate to much fantasy value. Even though he's averaging 11.0 points per game in his last five contests, he's doing so while logging 12.0 minutes per game. That point-per-minute ratio is expected to regress sooner rather than later.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Plays well off bench
Horton-Tucker closed Tuesday's 127-108 win over Washington with 13 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, two assists, one block and one steal over 16 minutes.
Horton-Tucker played through a thumb issue in the win, absorbing some of Patrick Williams' (foot) minutes in the process. Horton-Tucker has played well in two straight games, averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 assists, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers in that span.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Good to go
Horton-Tucker (thumb) is available for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.
As expected, Horton-Tucker has been upgraded from probable to available. With Patrick Williams (foot) still out, Horton-Tucker should see minutes off the bench against Washington.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Dealing with minor thumb sprain
Horton-Tucker is probable for Tuesday's game against the Wizards due to a right thumb sprain.
Horton-Tucker's role has been sporadic this season, and he's expected to be available off the bench again Tuesday. With Patrick Williams (foot) unavailable, Horton-Tucker could be in the rotation. On Saturday, he played 18 minutes -- his most since Nov. 7 -- and recorded 10 points, five assists, two rebounds and two blocks.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Leads bench in scoring in loss
Horton-Tucker ended Sunday's 143-107 loss to the Rockets with 12 points (4-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 10 minutes.
Horton-Tucker provided a boost off the Chicago bench despite his brief time on the floor, leading all players on the second unit in scoring while connecting on a team-high-tying pair of threes. Horton-Tucker's point total was his second highest of the season and marked the third time he scored in double figures thus far in the new campaign.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Sees uptick in playing time
Horton-Tucker closed with 10 points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes during Monday's 135-126 loss to the Jazz.
Horton-Tucker struggled to find his groove shooting the ball, but he still finished the night with season highs in points, rebounds, assists and minutes. The Iowa State product clearly benefitted from the absence of Zach LaVine (hip), who's timetable for a return is still up in the air. Both Horton-Tucker and Dalen Terry should be in line for more opportunities until LaVine can get back on the court.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Productive off bench Monday
Horton-Tucker registered 15 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds and an assist across 18 minutes off the bench in Monday's 111-107 preseason loss to the Bucks.
Horton-Tucker is battling for a roster spot with the Bulls, and while these performances might strengthen his case, his chances of securing a spot in the Opening Night rotation aren't very high. Horton-Tucker has averaged at least 10.0 points per game in each of his last three seasons, though, so he could provide some scoring and flexibility off the bench for a rebuilding Chicago team.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Good to go Saturday
Horton-Tucker is available for Saturday's preseason game against the Grizzlies, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Horton-Tucker was held out of Friday's practice due to calf tightness as a precautionary measure, but he is good to go for Saturday's preseason matchup. The 23-year-old appeared in 51 regular-season contests for Utah last season, during which he averaged 10.1 points, 3.5 assists and 2.4 rebounds across 19.8 minutes per game.

Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Latches on with Bulls
Horton-Tucker agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Chicago on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Horton-Tucker spent the last two seasons in Utah, averaging 10.7 points per game in 2022 and scoring 10.1 points in 19.8 minutes per contest in 2023. The five-year NBA veteran is only 23 years old, and he'll have an opportunity to make the regular-season roster with an impressive training camp.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Hits for team-high 24
Horton-Tucker finished with 24 points (10-23 FG, 4-8 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 111-95 loss to Denver.
The 23-year-old guard led the Jazz in scoring on the night as he saw big minutes in the absence of Collin Sexton (illness), Jordan Clarkson (back) and Kris Dunn (foot). Horton-Tucker has scored 12 or more points in each of his last three games, draining multiple three-pointers in each, and he figured to hang onto a significant role in the backcourt over the final few games of the regular season.

Jazz's Talen Horton-Tucker: Leads from bench with 17 points
Horton-Tucker closed with 17 points (5-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 26 minutes during Friday's 131-102 loss to the Clippers.
The Jazz's starting five were almost completely ineffective in the blowout loss, and the huge deficit allowed Utah's bench to empty. Horton-Tucker didn't enter the game until the very end of the first quarter but put in a full 12 minutes in the second and fourth quarters during the blowout. The 23-year-old was expected to have a bigger impact in his second year with the Jazz, but injuries have plagued his 2023-24 campaign, and his lengthy absences allowed other players to leapfrog him on the depth chart. After exercising his $11M option to remain with the team this year, his future with Utah is a bit cloudy, as the Jazz need to pay other valuable players on the roster.
