Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Productive from deep in loss Monday
Juzang logged 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-7 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes during Monday's 144-107 loss to the Clippers.
Juzang led Utah in three-pointers made while logging 20-plus minutes for the seventh time in the 2024-25 campaign. The two-way guard has provided a valuable spark off the bench for the Jazz this season, and in his last five outings, he has averaged 11.0 points while shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 46.9 percent from beyond the arc across 22.0 minutes per contest.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Productive off bench Friday
Juzang produced 22 points (8-14 FG, 6-11 3Pt) and two rebounds in 26 minutes during Friday's 141-99 win over Portland.
The Jazz secured one of their biggest wins in recent memory, and the nature of the contest allowed some of the bench players to get extra minutes in the second half. Juzang, a former UCLA standout, recorded his best scoring output of the campaign and also extended his streak of games with double-digit points to three contests. While the third-year guard is having his most productive stretch of the season, his fantasy value shouldn't be very high, as he's strictly a bench option who rarely logs more than 20 minutes of court time.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Plays well off bench
Juzang chipped in 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt) and one assist over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 133-106 loss to the Thunder.
Juzang reached double-digit points for the second game in a row and saw his second-largest workload of the season. Jordan Clarkson (foot) has missed five games in a row for the Jazz, and Juzang made a strong case to the coaching staff to keep him more involved Tuesday.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Scores 12 points off bench
Juzang registered 12 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal over 16 minutes during Thursday's 123-100 loss to the Bucks.
Over his last three appearances, Juzang has averaged 12.3 points and 1.0 steals over 20.3 minutes per game. The Jazz got Jordan Clarkson (heel), Lauri Markkanen (back) and Isaiah Collier (hamstring) back Thursday, but Juzang remained in the rotation and played well, which bodes well for his role moving forward.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Strong output off bench
Juzang closed with 17 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, one assist and two steals over 27 minutes during Saturday's 129-103 loss to Denver.
Juzang took advantage of Jordan Clarkson's (heel) absence to operate as Utah's primary scoring weapon off the bench. This 17-point output was even more surprising since Juzang went scoreless in his first two appearances of the regular season. Juzang should continue to see minutes off the bench as long as the Jazz remain depleted. However, his fantasy upside is minimal, and he should only be considered a streaming alternative during specific slates.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Suiting up Tuesday
Juzang (thumb) is available to play in Tuesday's game against the Kings, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.
Juzang is expected to make his 2024-25 debut after missing the club's first three regular-season outings due to a sprained right thumb. The 23-year-old impressed during the preseason, and he should play a role off the bench behind Jordan Clarkson with Isaiah Collier (hamstring) out.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Solid outing once again
Juzang recorded 12 points (4-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), a rebound, an assist, two steals and a block across 12 minutes off the bench in Monday's 122-113 preseason win over the Rockets.
Juzang was one of the Jazz's best players for a second consecutive preseason game, and he seems to be gaining steam toward earning a spot on the regular-season roster despite playing on a two-way deal. Juzang has shot 11-for-14 from the field in two preseason games, and his performance over the subsequent contests could strengthen his grip on a rotation role with the regular season approaching quickly.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Leads Utah in preseason opener
Juzang notched 19 points (7-9 FG, 5-6 3Pt), a rebound and two assists across 19 minutes off the bench in Friday's 116-87 preseason win over the Breakers.
The bench players received significant run in the preseason opener, and Juzang made the most of his opportunity, leading Utah in scoring and showing he might belong at the NBA level despite playing on a two-way deal. A couple more strong showings in preseason could allow Juzang to compete for a regular-season roster spot.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Remaining in Utah
The Jazz signed Juzang to a four-year, $12 million contract Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Juzang spent the last two seasons with the Jazz on two-way contracts, splitting time between the G League and NBA clubs. In 2023-24, he averaged 7.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 18.6 minutes across 20 NBA regular-season appearances for the Jazz. With Juzang signing his new contract, it appears that Utah sees him as a long-term piece for the franchise.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Jazz extend qualifying offer
The Jazz extended a qualifying offer to Juzang on Saturday, making him a restricted free agent, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
Juzang's role grew with the Jazz toward the end of the 2023-24 campaign, so it's not a surprise to see that Utah is interested in keeping the score-first guard around. Juzang spent a lot of time in the G League as well. In his 20 appearances with the Jazz, he produced averages of 7.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.6 three-pointers.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Starting against Denver
Juzang is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, Utah Jazz's play-by-play commentator David Locke reports.
Juzang will move to the starting lineup due to the absence of Collin Sexton (illness). Juzang tallied 27 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Warriors. He's made just one start this season, where he posted eight points across 21 minutes in a loss to the Rockets on March 23.

Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Explodes for 27 points from bench
Juzang posted 27 points (9-12 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes during Sunday's 118-110 loss to the Warriors.
Juzang has appeared in only 16 games for the Jazz this season, but he came out of nowhere with a career-high 27 points during the loss. The UCLA product has been a lethal long-range threat with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars, and he showed the same sharpshooting prowess Sunday with seven three-pointers. Juzang has likely earned himself additional playing time in the final week after this impressive performance.
