Nets' Cam Thomas: Won't play Wednesday
Thomas has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Raptors due to left hamstring injury management, Meghan Triplett of YES Network reports.
Thomas returned to action Sunday following a 13-game absence due to a left hamstring strain and dropped 25 points (6-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 10-11 FT) in 25 minutes off the bench during a one-point loss to the Magic. He'll be back in street clothes for the first half of Brooklyn's upcoming back-to-back set, though he should return to action Thursday in Milwaukee. Ziaire Williams (knee) is close to making his return, but in Thomas' absence, Keon Johnson should remain in the starting lineup.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Big numbers in return
Thomas (hamstring) tallied 25 points (6-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 10-11 FT), six rebounds and six assists across 25 minutes in Sunday's 102-101 loss to the Magic.
Thomas had started in each of his first 17 appearances of the season, but after missing the Nets' last 13 contests with a hamstring strain, he was brought back Sunday as a bench player while he operated under a minute restriction. The restriction didn't prevent Thomas from taking on heavy volume, as his outsized 47.4 percent usage rate paced the Nets by a healthy margin. Cameron Johnson (hip) exited early Sunday and the Nets acquired D'Angelo Russell from the Lakers earlier in the day, so Thomas will likely have to sacrifice some shot attempts if all three players are available for Brooklyn's next game Wednesday in Toronto. It's unclear whether Thomas will slot back into the starting five once he's further removed from the hamstring injury, as the Nets could prefer to keep him and Russell on separate units to strengthen the defense.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Will be limited off bench
Thomas (hamstring) is available but won't start Sunday's game against the Magic and will have a minutes restriction, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Thomas hasn't completely moved past the left hamstring injury that's sidelined him for 13 straight games, but he will make his first appearance since Nov. 25 on Sunday. Thomas was on fire to start the campaign, averaging 24.7 points, 3.4 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 33.4 minutes per game, but the Nets have made some significant moves since the shooting guard last played, adding D'Angelo Russell while sending Dorian Finney-Smith to the Lakers and Dennis Schroder to the Warriors.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Good to go Sunday
Thomas (hamstring) is available to play in Sunday's game against the Magic, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Thomas will make his return to action following a 13-game absence due to a strained left hamstring. It wouldn't be surprising if the 23-year-old operates under a minutes restriction in his return, meaning Reece Beekman and Tyrese Martin are candidates for a slight uptick in playing time with Shake Milton having been traded to the Lakers on Sunday.

Thomas (hamstring) is listed as probable for Sunday's game versus the Magic, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Thomas has missed Brooklyn's last 13 contests due to a left hamstring strain but is expected to return to action Sunday. However, it wouldn't be surprising for Thomas to operate on a minutes restriction if he's further upgraded to available.

Thomas (hamstring) will be inactive Thursday versus Milwaukee, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Remains out for Monday
Thomas (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Heat, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Thomas will miss his 11th consecutive outing due to a left hamstring strain, but head coach Jordi Fernandez said Monday that Thomas participated in 5-on-5 work and is "getting close" to returning, per Slater. Before being cleared for game action, the 23-year-old will probably need to put in a full practice, but if he's able to do so Tuesday or Wednesday, he could return to the lineup as soon as Thursday in Milwaukee.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Will be evaluated this weekend
Thomas (hamstring) is progressing well in his recovery and will be re-evaluated this weekend, Meghan Triplett of YES Network reports.
Thomas has missed Brooklyn's last eight games due to a left hamstring strain and will remain sidelined Thursday. Keon Johnson will likely continue to start in his absence. While Thomas will be re-evaluated this weekend, it seems unlikely he will suit up for Saturday's matchup with Utah.

Thomas (hamstring) hasn't been cleared for contact yet, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Out at least three weeks
Brooklyn announced Wednesday that Thomas suffered a left hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
An MRI on Tuesday revealed the strain and confirmed that the Nets will be without their top offensive option for several weeks. Based on Thomas' re-evaluation date, the earliest possible return date will be Dec. 19 against the Raptors. In Thomas' absence, Dennis Schroder, Ben Simmons and Cameron Johnson could see increased usage, while guys like Keon Johnson and Jalen Wilson could get more opportunities.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Makes early exit Monday
Thomas didn't return to Monday's 128-120 win over the Warriors after exiting with 6:43 remaining in the third quarter, Brian Lewis of The New York Post reports. "I ended up taking him out because he took a foul, he was tired," head coach Jordi Fernandez said, when asked about Thomas' early exit. "I didn't feel it was right. And I just wanted to protect him from himself."
Thomas scored 23 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT) and added three rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes before checking out midway through the third quarter. Based on Fernandez's comments, Thomas appears to have been dealing with general fatigue more so than a legitimate injury, so the expectation is that the 23-year-old guard will be ready to go for the Nets' next game Wednesday in Phoenix. Thomas missed a game last week with a sore back and had also battled an illness prior to last Friday's game in Philadelphia.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Explodes for 34 points in upset win
Thomas ended with 34 points (11-22 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 8-11 FT), two rebounds and six assists in 36 minutes during Sunday's 108-103 victory over the Kings.
Thomas delivered one of his best scoring performances of the season Sunday, carrying the Nets to a huge road win over the Kings. It's not odd to see Thomas taking over games for Brooklyn, however, and he has the absolute green light to fire from any point of the field at any given moment, especially when the Nets are shorthanded like they were Sunday. Thomas has backed up that offensive freedom with excellent numbers. He's averaging 23.6 points, 3.9 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 0.5 steals per game since the beginning of November.

Thomas returned Friday after missing the previous game with a back injury, handing out a team-high-tying assist total while concluding two points short of the 20-point mark. Thomas set a new season high in assists.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Available Friday
Thomas (back) is available for Friday's game against the 76ers, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
Despite dealing with lingering back tightness, Thomas will suit up Friday. The 23-year-old was unable to play in Tuesday's win over the Hornets, though he will play through the back issue against Philadelphia. In his last five outings, Thomas has averaged 23.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 52.1 percent from the field across 33.8 minutes per game.

Thomas was a late addition the injury report, though he was originally deemed probable before being downgraded to questionable and eventually to out.
