This doesn't come as much of a surprise considering he first tweeted it nearly a month ago, but Aaron Green officially transferred from Nebraska to TCU on Wednesday.
TCU issued a release confirming the transfer.
Green rushed for 130 yards on 25 carries for Nebraska last season. He was one of the top running back prospects in the country coming out of high school.
Per transfer rules, Green will have to sit out the 2012 season but will be eligible to play in 2013.
This is a boon for the TCU backfield, as it was recently announced that running back Ed Wesley was leaving the program. However, Waymon James and Matthew Tucker remain and will carry the load for the Horned Frogs this season. Both backs combined to carry the ball 244 times for 1,577 yards and 18 touchdowns.
