AD Jeff Long met with players after practice to inform them he fired coach Bobby Petrino. “They are understandably concerned,” Long said. “Coach Petrino was the leader of their football program. I think that they are a little bit confused at this point. I'm sure they're running the human emotions that many young persons of that age would have.”
