Fortunes may be turning around for Air Force after losing four in a row. They have a bit of a cushion as they currently lead James Madison 21-7. Air Force's offense has been firing on all cylinders thus far, outscoring their total from back in November with time still left to play.
If Air Force keeps playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 9-4 in no time. On the other hand, James Madison will have to make due with an 11-2 record unless they turn things around (and fast).

The Air Force Falcons and the James Madison Dukes will square off in the Armed Forces Bowl at Amon G. Carter Stadium 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. James Madison does have the home-field advantage, but Air Force is expected to win by 2.5 points.
Air Force's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in November after their fourth straight loss. They fell 27-19 to Boise State.
Air Force's defeat came about despite a quality game from Dylan Carson, who rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Carson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 68 yards.
Meanwhile, James Madison scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in November. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Coastal Carolina 56-14 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win James Madison has managed all season.
Elijah Sarratt and Jordan McCloud were among the main playmakers for James Madison as the former gained 108 total yards and four touchdowns and the latter threw for 324 yards and five touchdowns while completing 74.3% of his passes. Phoenix Sproles also helped out with an impressive 99 receiving yards.
Air Force's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for James Madison, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
