Air Force vs. New Mexico updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Friday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Air Force vs. New Mexico football game
Game Recap
The Air Force Falcons got themselves on the board against the New Mexico Lobos on Friday, but New Mexico never followed suit. Air Force put the hurt on the Lobos with a sharp 28 to nothing win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Air Force had established a 21 to nothing advantage.
Air Force's RB Brad Roberts was on fire, rushing for three TDs and 177 yards on 28 carries.
The win got Air Force back to even at 2-2. New Mexico still hasn't won a matchup and fell to 0-4.
The Falcons will play host again and welcome the Colorado State Rams to Falcon Stadium, where kick-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET next Thursday. Colorado State took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Air Force's good fortune. As for New Mexico, they will go up against the Utah State Aggies at 7 p.m. ET next Thursday at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. Like New Mexico, Utah State is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 35-16 to the Fresno State Bulldogs.
