Air Force vs. Wyoming updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Air Force vs. Wyoming football game
Wyoming has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Air Force Falcons at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Falcon Stadium. Air Force is favored, but seeing as the odds didn't stop Wyoming in their last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
Even though Wyoming has not done well against Fresno State recently (they were 0-4 over their last four matchups), they didn't let that get in the way on Saturday. Wyoming snuck past Fresno State with a 24-19 victory. While the oddsmakers failed to call the winner, they nailed the 43 point over/under.
Andrew Peasley looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 183 yards and three touchdowns. Wyatt Wieland was in the mix too, providing Wyoming with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Air Force put another one in the bag two Saturdays ago to keep their undefeated season alive. They claimed a resounding 49-10 victory over San Diego State at home.
Zac Larrier looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 189 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 103 yards on only eight carries. That's the first time this season that Larrier rushed for 100 or more yards. Cade Harris was another key contributor, gaining 110 total yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Wyoming to 5-1 and Air Force to 5-0.
The pair pleased both fans and bettors in their last matchups by winning and covering the spread. Looking forward, Air Force is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by ten points. They might be worth a quick bet since they've covered the spread the last three times they've played Wyoming.
Wyoming came out on top in a nail-biter against Air Force when the teams last played back in September of 2022, sneaking past 17-14. Wyoming will need to keep their eye on Larrier after his big game. Does he have another one up his sleeve against Wyoming, or will the team keep him contained? There's only one way to find out.
