The Akron Zips' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Bryant Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. ET Sept. 18 at Summa Field at InfoCision Stadium. Bryant should still be riding high after a victory, while the Zips will be looking to right the ship.

Akron has to be hurting after a devastating 45-24 defeat at the hands of the Temple Owls last week. Akron was down 38-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Bryant was able to grind out a solid win over the Sacred Heart Pioneers last week, winning 17-6.

Akron's loss took them down to 0-2 while Bryant's win pulled them up to 1-1. A win for Akron would reverse both their bad luck and Bryant's good luck. We'll see if the Zips manage to pull off that tough task or if the Bulldogs keep their momentum going instead.
