Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor is expected to make his season debut in Saturday's game at Wisconsin, according to 247Sports. Proctor missed the past two weeks while dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered in team warmups ahead of 2024's opener against Western Kentucky

Proctor will likely return to his starting left tackle spot with the Crimson Tide. Elijah Pritchett started at left tackle for Alabama in the win against Western Kentucky and guard Tyler Booker kicked out to left tackle for the Crimson Tide's Week 2 win against South Florida. Proctor coming back means that Booker can shift back inside and Pritchett can move back to right tackle.

Proctor, a former five-star prospect out of Des Moines, Iowa, was a Freshman All-American while protecting quarterback Jalen Milroe's blindside in 2023. He was also the highest-graded offensive lineman during conference championship weekend, paving the way for Alabama's SEC Championship Game win against Georgia

He then stole headlines with a whirlwind offseason that saw him transfer to Iowa in the wake of Nick Saban's retirement. Proctor never suited up for the Hawkeyes, though. In April, before the spring transfer window even opened, reports broke that Proctor planned on transferring back to Alabama. Proctor's return to Tuscaloosa was a huge early win for new coach Kalen DeBoer, and he was expected to slot in immediately as a starter before his shoulder injury.
