Live scores, highlights and updates from the Alabama vs. Kentucky football game
Game Recap
On Saturday, the Alabama Crimson Tide turned the game against the Kentucky Wildcats into a track meet and took the gold after outgaining them 509 yards to 179. The Crimson Tide were completely in charge, breezing past UK 63-3 at home. That looming 60-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Bama yet this year.
Bama can attribute much of their success to WR Devonta Smith, who caught nine passes for two TDs and 144 yards, and RB Najee Harris, who punched in two rushing touchdowns. Alabama's DB Jordan Battle got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the third quarter into a touchdown.
The win for Bama kept them a perfect 7-0. UK's overall record fell to 3-5.
The Crimson Tide will stay at home against the Auburn Tigers at 3:30 p.m. ET Nov. 28 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. If the game is anything like Auburn's 48-45 victory from their previous meeting in November of last year, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy. The Wildcats are staying on the road next Saturday to face off against the Florida Gators at noon ET Nov. 28 at Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. UK's defense better steel itself: Florida is averaging 45 points per game.
