The ETSU Buccaneers will start their season against the App. State Mountaineers. Kickoff is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's contest: App. State was moving up and down the field last season, having averaged 450.3 total yards per game. It's a different story for ETSU, though, as they averaged only 271.
Looking back to last season, App. State finished on the right side of .500 (8-5), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year. On the other hand, ETSU finished with a dismal 3-8 record.
Looking forward, the game looks promising for App. State, as the team is favored by a full 33.5 points. They finished last season with an even 6-6-1 record against the spread.
