Arkansas vs. Alabama: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Arkansas vs. Alabama football game
Game Recap
You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Alabama Crimson Tide's strategy against the Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday. The Crimson Tide steamrolled past Arkansas 52-3 on the road. That result was just more of the same for Bama, who also won the last time these teams played (Oct. 26 of last year).
Bama started the contest off right with 38 first-half points. Arkansas countered with 3 points. The Alabama defense was impenetrable in the third quarter, shutting them out and essentially clinching the matchup.
RB Brian Robinson Jr. was the offensive standout of the contest for Bama, punching in three rushing touchdowns. That's the most rushing touchdowns Robinson Jr. has had all year. Another playmaker for the Crimson Tide was WR Devonta Smith, who returned a punt 84 yards to the end zone in the first quarter.
Bama's defense was a presence as well, as it collected one interception and three fumbles. DB Brian Branch picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.
The victory bumped Bama's record up to 10-0. The loss dropped Arkansas' record to 3-7.
Bama will take on the Florida Gators at 8 p.m. ET next week at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. As for Arkansas, their regular season is over.
