The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will head out on the road to face off against the Army Black Knights at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Blaik Field at Michie Stadium. Coming in fresh off a victory as the underdog, Coastal Carolina will stroll into this one as the favorite.
Coastal Carolina entered their tilt with Texas State with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Coastal Carolina came out on top against Texas State by a score of 31-23 on Saturday.
Coastal Carolina's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Vasko led the charge by throwing for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Sam Pinckney did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Coastal Carolina's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Will Whitson and his two sacks.

Army is hoping to beat the odds on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. Bettors picking them against the spread have some confidence (to put it mildly), as the team is sitting on a four-game streak of failing to cover when playing at home.
Coastal Carolina was able to grind out a solid victory over Army in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, winning 38-28. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Army's Tyrell Robinson, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Coastal Carolina still be able to contain him? Check CBSSports.com after the match to find out.
