The Alabama A&M Bulldogs will hit the road to start this year's campaign against the Auburn Tigers. Kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Pat Dye Field at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Looking back to last season, Alabama A&M finished on the wrong side of .500 (5-6), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year. On the other hand, Auburn wound up balanced, finishing 6-6.
Alabama A&M is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
The disadvantage in the odds might be especially worrying for Alabama A&M considering the team was a sub-par 1-3 as the underdog last season. A bettor who placed a $100 dollar bet on them to lose every one of the 11 games they played last year would have netted $210.28. Auburn will open their season as the favorite, and the team was 5-1 as such last season.
