Auburn vs. Georgia State: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Auburn vs. Georgia State football game
Considering their sizeable disadvantage in the spread, the Georgia State Panthers can expect to have a real challenge on their hands on Saturday. They will take on the Auburn Tigers on the road at 4 p.m. ET at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Panthers should still be riding high after a victory, while Auburn will be looking to regain their footing.
It was all tied up 7-7 at the half for Georgia State and the Charlotte 49ers last week, but Georgia State stepped up in the second half for a 20-9 win.
Meanwhile, Auburn was first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against the Penn State Nittany Lions last week. Auburn came up short against Penn State, falling 28-20. Despite the defeat, the Tigers got a solid performance out of RB Tank Bigsby, who rushed for two TDs and 102 yards on 23 carries.
The Panthers' win brought them up to 1-2 while Auburn's loss pulled them down to a reciprocal 2-1. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Georgia State is 233rd worst in the nation in touchdowns allowed, with 15 on the season. Auburn's offense has more to brag about, as they they enter the contest with 16 overall offensive touchdowns, good for sixth best in the nation. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
