Boise State vs. UCF updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Boise State vs. UCF football game
The Boise State Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the UCF Knights at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Albertsons Stadium.
Boise State kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They suffered a grim 56-19 defeat to Washington.
Despite the loss, Boise State got a solid performance out of RB Ashton Jeanty, who posted 109 yards for a touchdown plus a rushing score. Jeanty's longest reception was for 50 yards. Securing the other side of the line was S Alexander Teubner, who stumped the offense to the tune of eight tackles.
Meanwhile, UCF took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They put a hurting on Kent State at home to the tune of 56-6. UCF pushed the score to 42-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Kent State had nochance of recovering from.
John Rhys Plumlee was the offensive standout of the game as he finished with 371 total yards and four touchdowns. Plumlee wound up with a passer rating of 171.7. It was a true group effort though, and the team also got help from RB RJ Harvey, who rushed for 84 yards and punched in a rushing TD plus a receiving touchdown.
Boise State will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 6-8 record against the spread.
The Broncos will be out to turn their luck around, while the Knights will be hoping to grab another win. Check CBS Sports after the match to see if Boise State succeed or if UCF can keep it going.
