Boston College vs. Missouri updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Boston College vs. Missouri football game
The Missouri Tigers will take on the Boston College Eagles at noon ET on Saturday at Alumni Stadium. These two teams are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.
The Tigers ran circles around the Southeast Missouri State Indians last week, and the extra yardage (687 yards vs. 363 yards) paid off. Mizzou was the clear victor by a 59-28 margin over Southeast Missouri State. With Mizzou ahead 38 to nothing at the half, the contest was all but over already. Among those leading the charge for them was RB Tyler Badie, who punched in two rushing touchdowns in addition to snatching one receiving TD.
Meanwhile, everything went BC's way against the Temple Owls last week as they made off with a 28-3 victory. The team accrued 21 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win. No one had a standout game offensively for BC, but they got scores from RB Pat Garwo III, RB Travis Levy, and WR Jaden Williams.
This next matchup is expected to be close, with the Tigers going off at just a 1.5-point favorite. But bettors beware: they are 0-2 against the spread when favored.
The wins brought Mizzou up to 2-1 and the Eagles to 3-0. Two defensive stats to keep an eye on: Mizzou is 238th worst in the nation in rushing yards allowed per game, with 266.7 on average. BC's defense has more to brag about, as they they come into the contest boasting the 17th fewest rushing touchdowns allowed in the nation at one.
