Bowling Green vs. South Alabama updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Bowling Green vs. South Alabama football game
The South Alabama Jaguars will take on the Bowling Green Falcons at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
Everything went the Jaguars' way against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles last week as they made off with a 31-7 victory. The oddsmakers were on South Alabama's side, but they didn't give the squad enough credit as the margin was unexpectedly wide.
Meanwhile, Bowling Green was expected to have a tough go of it last Thursday, and that's exactly how things played out. They have to be aching after a bruising 38-6 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers. The Falcons were down 28-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. QB Matt McDonald wasn't much of a difference maker for Bowling Green; McDonald passed for only 187 yards on 38 attempts.
South Alabama's win lifted them to 1-0 while Bowling Green's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if South Alabama can add another positive mark to their record or if Bowling Green can shake off the loss and take the spring out of South Alabama's step.
