BYU vs. Texas Tech Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the BYU vs. Texas Tech football game
After three games on the road, BYU is heading back home. They will take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. BYU is expected to lose this one by three points, so we'll see if that gives them a bit of motivation.
There's no need to mince words: BYU lost to TCU on Saturday, and BYU lost bad. The score wound up at 44-11. BYU was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-8.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Cougars had trouble moving the ball and finished the game with only 243 total yards. They were dismantled by their opponents in that department as TCU gained 584.
Meanwhile, the point spread may have favored Texas Tech last Saturday, but the final result did not. They took a hard 38-21 fall against Kansas State.
Tahj Brooks put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown.
The losses dropped BYU to 5-2 and Texas Tech to 3-5.
Not only did the pair lose their last games, but neither team managed to cover the spread. Looking ahead, Texas Tech is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by three points. This contest will be BYU's fifth straight as the underdogs (so far over this stretch they are 2-2 against the spread).
